We could not do our work without the trust of our generous supporters. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our donors' personal information.

Your online donations are protected by the advanced security features and extensive fraud detection provided by CanadaHelps. (Click here to learn more about CanadaHelps.)

We have taken the necessary steps to ensure that information in any format (paper and electronic) is protected, so that the relationship of trust between the donor and the Foundation is upheld. We use personal information from our donors to:

  • comply with Canada Customs and Revenue Agency requirements
  • provide donors with periodic stewardship information
  • provide donors with appropriate recognition
  • provide donors and potential supporters with information about Bridgepoint Health Foundation activities
  • promote opportunities where donors and potential supporters may support Bridgepoint Health Foundation

The Bridgepoint Health Foundation Privacy Policy outlines rules for the collection, use, disclosure and retention of personal information. The policy is based on the 10 principles of the Canadian Standards Association's (CSA) Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information.

To demonstrate our commitment to our donors, we adhere to Imagine Canada's voluntary Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code.
